Mama D has been teaching people to dance for over 18 years. Come and join the friendliest dance class in South Wales, learn a new skill and enjoy fabulous rock n roll music.
About
Mama D
Affectionately known as Mama D (short for Dragon), Lyndsey Hill is a qualified dance instructor, a trainer of dance teachers, and a multiple Open dance competition winner, with over 18 years of teaching experience.
Beginning her partner dance journey with Modern Jive and Ceroc 20 years ago, she also discovered Rock n Roll with the amazing Pete The Feet in Bristol.
Always learning, Lyndsey has done many other partner dance styles including Argentine Tango, blues and Swing (Shag) classes...but her love of 50's music and 50's jive saw her bringing rock n roll classes to large Ceroc events, about six years ago.
Frustrated at the lack of local 50's jive classes post pandemic, Lyndsey decided to see if starting a class would take off, and Mama D's was born in November 2021.
Lyndsey's classes are highly structured, professional and full of fun! Assisted by her husband Andy, classes are vibrant and welcoming.
