About the event
I was sitting on my own next to the dance floor at Twinwood Festival, waiting for the next band so start...and then Shane started to sing - wowzers! Together with his band The Korrados, this amazing act was the highlight of my weekend, and I have been determined ever since to get them to a Mama D event!
Guaranteed to keep the dance floor full, Shane & The Korrados will be playing all the 50's jive classics along with stollers and bops to suit everyone.
The afternoon will start with a taster Rock n Roll class from Mama D, followed by music, performances and plenty of free flowing tea, coffee and cake - all included in the price!
The bar run by Lee and his team will be open of course, so please support this amazing club by buying a drink too!
The event will be at the home of Mama D's Rock n Roll Class, Barry Island Sports and Social Club, which has a fabulous dance floor!
